Days after the onslaught of Tropical Depression Agaton (Megi) on April 11, 2022 in Baybay City, ERMFPI’s Board of Trustees (BoT) wasted no time to initiate a fundraising drive for a relief operation to Brgy. Bunga, Baybay City. The Organization was overwhelmed by the responses it gathered from various project partners that resulted to a total of 40,000 pesos funds raised. Some members of the BoT took upon themselves to personally visit the ground zero in Barangay Bunga and provided kitchen kits, food packs and shelter kits to over 14 families. As experienced community development workers themselves, they initiated friendly conversations to the devastated families and provided psychosocial support to the victims.
