ERMFPI is currently working with young women and men of Barangay Carreta and Tinago, Cebu City for them to enrol and complete in the demand-driven T-VET, enabling them to succeed, be employed and obtain decent livelihoods. On-going negotiations with government and non-government institutions to develop and adopt a flexible standard in T-VET is being pushed by ERMFPI through lobbying and strengthening of advocacy campaigns.

While this initiative has just took off and impact needs to be analysed, further collaborations with potential employers and widening of pool of expertise in the provision of livelihood skills training is still needed. Until 2023, it is targeted that at least 1 Government and 2 Non-Government institutions has already adopted the flexible standards for enrolment qualifications.
